Hi Everyone!
We continue to meet every Sunday and Wednesday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. through to closing time at our regular Starbucks venue in the Clayton Shopping Center, where there are no dues and players of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to masters, are welcome to come and go anytime to enjoy chess over the boards!
Our Next Club Tournament to be Rescheduled
Our next club tournament, previously set for Sunday, October 25, 2026, will be rescheduled, owing to unforeseen circumstances relative to both the venue and the delay in adjustments to USCF ratings. Stay tuned for more info along with the new dateline and perhaps a different location for our next club tournament. Thanks!
However, do continue to join us at our regular Starbucks venue this Sunday, October 18th and Wednesday, October 21st for the fun and challenge of the game of chess, along with the chance to make new friends and perhaps renew old friendships! There will also be the challenge of solving the day's chess puzzle, as the player who solves it on his or her first try wins a free tall Starbucks drink of choice!
