There's chess as usual this
Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at our usual venue, Starbucks, located at 1536
Kirker Pass Rd., Clayton, Calif.,, at our usual times, from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00
p.m., come by anytime, the earlier the better for the best tables, more games,
and some really interesting company!
Last week saw 9 players
enjoying the chilly evening, and it was nice to see Albert again after way too
long, and Rich, Chris B., Chris Th. who brought UnderDog with him; Mike
T., Lorenzo, Tony, and Anthony were on board for some interesting
match-ups! Our last Sunday of the Month session featured Marc S., another
player we haven't seen in ages, in a match with Chris Th., with Anthony and
John S. locked in a duel of their own, while Mike T. was caught up in some academics
at a nearby table . . . .
. . . So, it's now December,
and if you're game to have chess on your challenging and fun agenda, come join
us, -- maybe even get some good practice in with the clock and jotting down the
moves, for players setting up for the Golden State Open scheduled for the
long Martin Luther King Weekend in mid-January.
