CHESS this Sunday, Sept. 10th at Starbucks!

Hi Everyone!

We meet again this Sunday, September 10, 2023 as we do from 3:00 p.m. through to closing every Sunday and Wednesday afternoon at our regular Starbucks venue, located at 1536 Kirker Pass Rd., in the Clayton Shopping Center, near the intersection of Clayton Rd. and Ygnacio Valley Rd!

Last Wednesday's session saw more than 10 players come by to get a game of chess over the boards. Fortunato is our newest player, with his wife Nexie, welcomed by Tony, Mike T., Ben C., Ian, Angel, Meredith, Irakli, Matthew, and John S.!

We welcome players of all ages and skill levels. Come and go anytime, there are no dues, and there is no purchase requirement. There often is a chess puzzle to solve, and the first player to solve it on the first try wins a free tall Starbucks drink of choice! The next puzzle might have very, very few chess pieces on the board, so once it is put out for solving, it will be a race to see who gets it right on the first try!!
