CHESS & Games Wednesday Dec. 5th at Starbucks!

Hi Everyone . . . !

There's lots more chess over the boards this Wednesday, December 5, 2018, from 4:30 pm - 9:00 pm, at Starbucks, located at 1536 Kirker Pass Rd., Clayton, Calif.  Come by anytime, earlier the better for the better tables, more matches, and some really nice company!

Speaking of nice company, at least 17 players of all ages and skill levels, from novice to masters, were in good spirits last week . . . on hand for the fun were new players Mark, Ivan, Katy, and Jackson, with Bob C., Justin, Jonathan, Rich K., Ronald, Andrew, Chris Th., Mike T., Chris B., Tony T., David, Ann, John S., and Greg . . . ! 

 

While we meet every Wednesday evening, this month's session at the Panera Bread Restaurant, corner or Bancroft Rd. and Treat Blvd. in Walnut Creek, will be on Sunday, December 16, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. - 5:30 pm.  Stay tuned, as it is possible that we could have USCF-rated matches that same day, venue to be determined.  Expect 3 Rds., G/45;d5 with EF = $20 if held at Panera.
