Hi Everyone . . . !
Our chess club saw quite a nice
turnout last week, highlighted by 10-minute speed games between Anthony and
youngster Chris Y., which resulted in a tie at 2 wins apiece! Chess was
rampant inside and outside the doors of Starbucks, as Chris B., Rich K., Tony
T., Josh and his Dad Dan, Chris Y. and his Dad Young, Chris Th. and his rather
large model F-104, Priya, Mark, Tom, John S., and Mike T. and several onlookers
and kibbitzers were there to enjoy the evening!
We meet every Wednesday
evening, and our next one is tomorrow, September 7, 2016, at our regular venue,
Starbucks, located at 1536 Kirker Pass Rd., Clayton, Calif., now from 5:30 p.m.
- 9:00 p.m., come by anytime, the earlier the better for the best tables, more
games, and some really nice and interesting company!
