We had a nice couple of sessions this past week with just over a dozen players coming by to enjoy last Wednesday evening at Starbucks, and the same number over at Panera Bread Restaurant on Sunday . . . !
We welcomed back Bev M. and
Jay, both of whom we haven't seen in quite a while! Bev is interested in
getting coached on her game, so if you have the knack for teaching chess, join
us again next month and meet her, when our session at Panera Bread is on the
3rd Sunday of the month, which will be June 19, 2016 from 2:15 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
at the Panera Bread Restaurant on the corner of Bancroft & Treat in Walnut
Creek.
In the meantime, we continue to
meet every Wednesday evening, and our next session is as usual from 6:00 p.m. -
9:00 p.m., this Wednesday at our usual venue, Starbucks, located at 1536 Kirker
Pass Rd., Clayton, Calif., come by anytime, the earlier the better for the best
tables, more games, and some really nice company!
