Hi Everyone . . . !
More than a dozen players enjoyed an evening of chess over the boards last Wednesday, and we meet again this Wednesday evening, April 24, 2019, at Starbucks, located at 1536 Kirker Pass Rd., Clayton, Calif., from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Come join us, drop by anytime, the earlier the better for the better tables, more matches, and some really nice company!
Last week saw Leo joining us for the first time in some years, and happened to win all four of his games . . . ! Welcoming him back were Rich K., Bob C., Tony T., Mike T., Art S., David W., John B., John S., JIm, Chris B., August, and Jonathan . . . more fun, challenging chess ahead as the weather gets so much better!
Note: We also meet next Sunday, April 28th, at Panera Bread Restaurant, corner of Treat Blvd. and Bancroft Rd., in Walnut Creek! We now meet every other Sunday at Panera, starting this month!
